Brazilian President Lula will visit China for four days at the end of March

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will have his first meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the 28th of March, on his first trip to the country in his third term.

The president should stay in Beijing for about four days, with an agenda that includes a business mission, discussions on trade and the change in the presidency of the BRICS Bank.

According to one of the sources interviewed by Reuters, Lula will have a full travel schedule this year. In addition to China at the end of March, a visit to Portugal in April has already been arranged.

In addition, the president should be invited to participate and intends to attend, the G7 Summit, in May, in Japan. In July, he participates in the Summit of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP), in São Tomé and Príncipe. He should also be back in Argentina for the Mercosur Summit.
