Portuguese newspaper Jornal Económico and Macao company Perfeição have agreed to co-operate in facilitating economic and cultural exchanges between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, the Macao Daily News reports.
The Macao newspaper says representatives of Jornal Económico and Perfeição signed an agreement to this effect on June 19 at a conference in Lisbon on opportunities for business between Portugal and China, including Macao.
The parties agreed to work together on arranging business meetings and visits by entrepreneurs, and on helping companies find opportunities for trade with and investment in new markets.
They will also arrange various other activities meant to increase economic and cultural exchanges between China and the Portuguese-speaking world, the Macao Daily News says.
