The National Council of Institutions of the Federal Network of Vocational, Scientific and Technological Education (Conif) and the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) will hold the Conif–CEAIE Dialogues Virtual Seminar on 22 July 2026. The initiative aims to strengthen co-operation between Brazil and China in vocational, scientific and technological education.
The programme will begin with presentations by representatives of the two organisations, who will provide an updated overview of vocational education in their respective countries, as well as relevant policies, initiatives and opportunities for co-operation between Brazilian and Chinese institutions.
The seminar will feature two thematic sessions. The first will focus on strengthening joint research in high-demand strategic sectors, bringing together representatives of institutions from both countries to share experience and identify opportunities for scientific and technological collaboration.
The second session will address the expansion of student and academic staff exchange opportunities, with a focus on sharing good practices and overcoming challenges related to international academic mobility. At the end of the programme, institutional networking sessions will be held in virtual breakout rooms designed to connect Brazilian and Chinese institutions interested in establishing partnerships.
