The development of electric mobility and the growing presence of Chinese manufacturers in the Brazilian market have increased the search for new business links between companies from the two countries. In this context, the Eletrocar Show, held in June at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, hosted a business matchmaking session that brought together around 21 Chinese suppliers from the automotive sector and approximately 50 Brazilian buyers in pre-scheduled meetings.

The initiative was developed to bring together companies with compatible commercial interests, promoting individual meetings between buyers and suppliers in the electric mobility and electric vehicle value chain. The activity took place as part of the Eletrocar programme, an event dedicated to electric mobility and new technologies in the automotive sector.

The participating suppliers represented different segments of the production chain, including electric scooters and motorcycles, electric vehicles and mobility components, auto parts and automotive systems, batteries, charging and energy solutions, as well as vehicle accessories and equipment. The organisers estimate that the meetings held during the event could generate between 2 million and 3 million reais in business opportunities.
