Portugal’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paulo Rangel, will make an official visit to the Macau Special Administrative Region (RAEM) and Mainland China at the end of March, as confirmed by his office to Teledifusão de Macau (TDM). The agenda includes a trip to Beijing for a meeting with his counterpart, Wang Yi, with the Portuguese minister also attending the Boao Forum.

This year’s Boao Forum for Asia will be held from March 25 to 28 in Hainan Province, focusing on discussions around commercial, economic, and cooperation issues among countries, with a particular emphasis on Asia.

In the RAEM, Paulo Rangel is scheduled to meet with Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai, as well as hold meetings with the local Portuguese community and Alexandre Leitão, Portugal’s Consul General in Macau.
