Caoa Chery continues to expand its vehicle lineup in Brazil and has plans to bring new models to the market in the coming years. After a period without new launches, the automaker is preparing for the arrival of the Tiggo 9, a large SUV, while also considering new electric options to compete in the segment.

During the launch of the Tiggo 7 PHEV, Carlos Alberto de Oliveira Andrade Filho, CEO of Caoa Group, confirmed that the Tiggo 9 remains in the company's plans for Brazil. The model will be imported from China and is expected to arrive in the country in 2025, initially with a combustion engine, with plug-in hybrid versions planned for a later stage.

Caoa Chery is also evaluating its participation in the electric vehicle market. Currently, the only 100% electric model offered by the brand in Brazil is the iCar, a subcompact that has seen low consumer acceptance. The company is studying the possibility of introducing new options but emphasizes a preference for plug-in hybrids due to the country's charging infrastructure.
