During the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), Angola's Minister of Transport, Ricardo d'Abreu, announced the continuation of the partnership with Chinese companies to complete important infrastructure projects in the area of transport and logistics.

Among the projects highlighted are the Caio Deep Water Terminal in Cabinda and the new Luanda Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport. The two projects, which are being implemented with Chinese assistance, are meant to make intra-African trade, logistics, and transportation easier.

The Minister of Transport added that Angola's presence in China was also utilized to establish the Southern Transport and Logistics Corridors by signing Memoranda of Understanding, which brought to fruition a number of significant projects for the development of the nation and the possibility of facilitating trade on a continental and regional scale.
