On July 23, a delegation of Chinese from Xiangya Hospital Central South University, one of the oldest and most prestigious healthcare institutions in China, visited the Hospital de Base do Distrito Federal (HBDF) to learn more about the services offered by the Brazilian hospital.

During the visit, Dr. Liu Weidong, director of Xiangya Hospital Central South University, introduced the operation of his hospital. Then Dr. Rodrigo led the delegation through the HBDF facilities, highlighting the outpatient clinic, nuclear medicine and the oncology inpatient sector.

The presence of the Chinese team in Brazil was promoted by the Chinese embassy, and the delegation saw the opportunity as a chance to learn about the SUS service at HBDF.
