The delegation of the Macau Lawyers Association (AAM) was in Portugal for a week, sponsored by the Macau Foundation.

The delegation carries out visits to the Chinese Embassy in Portugal, the Attorney General's Office, the Macau Economic and Commercial Delegation in Lisbon, the Portuguese Bar Association, several law schools and legal institutions.

At these meetings, the delegation presented the development of law in Macau over the last 25 years, since Macau's return to China, as well as current opportunities for Macau lawyers, both in Mainland China and in Portuguese-speaking Countries and Regions.

Furthermore, AAM highlighted that the visit allowed the delegation to deepen its knowledge of the legal system and the functioning of justice in Portugal, in addition to discussing possibilities for cooperation, such as organizing seminars and sharing legal reading resources.
