Two Cape Verdean companies, Hidro Energy and CVORM Energy, were present at the Macau International Environmental Cooperation Forum and Exhibition. Participation is supported by Cabo Verde TradeInvest, the Cape Verde Embassy in China by the Cape Verde Delegate to the Macau Forum.
On the radio, Edmilson Rocha, CEO of CVORM, says that the fair came at the right time for the company and that on the first day, several contacts were made, and even a draft contract.
The Cape Verdean start-up has already agreed on a promissory contract with another from Macau for the acquisition of 90% of the equipment it needs for its activity in Cape Verde.
Edmilson Rocha says that nowadays Chinese machinery is of great quality and that prices in Asia are very competitive.
