11th Portugal–China Gala to bring together businesspeople and institutional representatives in Estoril

The Portugal–China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC) will hold its 11th Portugal–China Gala in Estoril, Portugal, on 28 October. Under the theme “Innovating for a Sustainable Future”, the event is expected to bring together businesspeople, investors, institutional representatives and members of the diplomatic corps from Portugal and China to promote dialogue and new opportunities for co-operation.

 

This year’s edition will focus on innovation, technology and sustainability in economic and business relations between the two countries. The opening session will be led by CCILC President António Noronha. Portugal’s Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Miguel Pinto Luz, is among those confirmed to attend.

 

The programme also includes remarks by the Embassy of China in Portugal and Kang Zhenlin, Vice-Mayor of Changsha, in Hunan Province. The Business Merit Awards and the General Vasco Rocha Vieira Award will also be presented, recognising key figures in business relations between Portugal and China.

 

According to the CCILC, the gala will provide an opportunity to bring businesses and institutions from both countries closer together. The programme includes networking, an institutional session and a gala dinner.
