According to statistics from China’s General Administration of Customs (see attached table), trade between China and Portuguese-speaking countries totalled US$151.791 billion from January to July 2026, a year-on-year increase of 24.12%. China’s imports from Portuguese-speaking countries amounted to US$91.517 billion, up 26.37% year on year, while its exports to them totalled US$60.274 billion, an increase of 20.86%.

In July 2026, trade between China and Portuguese-speaking countries amounted to US$24.591 billion, a year-on-year increase of 21.23%. China’s imports from Portuguese-speaking countries totalled US$15.648 billion, up 24.99% year on year, while exports amounted to US$8.943 billion, an increase of 15.17%.
