According to statistics from China’s General Administration of Customs (see attached table), trade between China and Portuguese-speaking countries totalled US$127.205 billion from January to June 2026, a year-on-year increase of 24.67%. China’s imports from Portuguese-speaking countries reached US$75.870 billion, up 26.63% year on year, while its exports to them totalled US$51.335 billion, an increase of 21.89%.

In June 2026, trade between China and Portuguese-speaking countries amounted to US$26.433 billion, up 32.73% year on year. China’s imports from Portuguese-speaking countries were worth US$16.693 billion, an increase of 34.88%, while exports totalled US$9.740 billion, up 29.19%.
