Chinese delegation visits Port of Rio de Janeiro

On September 9, the Port of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, received a Chinese delegation led by Mr. Lu Zhiliang, Executive Chairman of Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Trade Unions.


The purpose of the visit was to strengthen technical communication, promote cooperation between Brazil and China in the port sector, as well as to discuss opportunities for cooperation in areas of common interest.


During the meetings, the Chinese and Brazilian authorities exchanged information on the challenges and opportunities facing their respective port realities. This exchange of experiences allowed for joint reflection on how to apply best practices in the use of technologies to improve efficiency in operations and increase safety in cargo transportation.


In addition to technical cooperation, the meeting also focused on strengthening trade union relations between the two countries.


The visit consolidated the importance of the relationship between Brazil and China in the port sector and created a solid foundation for future cooperation.
