On September 10, BYD marked the opening of a new Caetano Tec dealership in Lisbon, which was attended by Stella Li, executive vice president of BYD Company Limited and CEO BYD Americas, who is visiting Portugal.

With the opening of the new dealership in Lisbon, BYD now has a total of 21 locations in mainland Portugal and the islands.

This Chinese car manufacturer, the world leader in new energy vehicles, arrived in Portugal in May 2023 and has already achieved a 5.8% share of the 100% electric light vehicle segment since the beginning of the year.

BYD is currently present in 88 countries and regions and in more than 400 cities, with production units established in China, Brazil, Thailand and Uzbekistan and under development in Hungary, Turkey and Mexico, contributing to the sustainable transition of mobility.
