A Chinese state-owned manufacturer of parts for the automotive
industry, YAPP Automotive Systems Co. Ltd., is entering the Brazilian
market, having rented logistics facilities in southern Brazil belonging
to Global Logistic Properties Ltd. (GLP) of Singapore, says GLP in a
press release.
It quotes GLP Chief Executive Stephen Schutte as
saying YAPP Automotive Systems is renting a warehouse with a floor area
of 11,000 square metres.

Vice-president Jiang Lin as saying: “GLP’s global team was very
supportive in helping us expand into Brazil seamlessly, and we are very
pleased to strengthen our partnership in a new market.”

Automotive Systems specialises in automotive fuel systems, including
plastic fuel tanks, and supplies components for Ford, General Motors,
Groupe PSA, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Suzuki and Volkswagen vehicles.
Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Yangzhou, China, the company has 24
plants spread throughout China and overseas.
