A Delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – together with a Delegation from the Macao SAR Government – this month visited Nanchang, in China’s Jiangxi Province. It was there to take part in the activities of ‘Macao Week’ in Nanchang, as well as to participate in the ‘Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair’

To highlight the role of Macao as a service platform and explain the investment environment and business opportunities of Portuguese-speaking Countries, the ‘Seminar on Business Co-operation between Jiangxi, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries’ was held in the afternoon of September 18.

A delegation organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) will visit Nanchang, in Jiangxi Province, this month to participate in the ‘Dynamic Macao Week’.

To better publicise official information updates – as well as the latest information about activities held by the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao – the Support Office of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao has launched its official WeChat account.

The opening ceremony of the ‘Workshop on Teaching and Training of Bilingual Speakers for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries’ was held yesterday at Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI).

The Training Centre of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) is organising a Workshop on Environmental Policy for Portuguese-speaking Countries. A total of 23 participants are to join the event, to be held from September 15 to 30.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – went, on the afternoon of August 27, to the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao SAR.

The Deputy Director-General of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, Mr Yao Jian; and the Deputy Director-General of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office, Mr Kou Ming, on August 25 visited the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – and the Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI) are jointly organising a ‘Workshop on Teaching and Training of Bilingual Speakers for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries’.

Following an invitation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – 18 participants in the “Seminar for Angolan Officials on Economic Development Experiences” visited Macao between August 11 and 13.

A delegation led by the Deputy Mayor of Zhongshan, Mr Yang Wenlong, on July 30 paid a visit to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao. The delegation also took part in a meeting about co-operation between Zhongshan, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
