A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – took part in the 5th China (Macau) International Automobile Expo (Macau Auto Expo). The opening ceremony was held on November 6.

In order to help transform Macao into a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure, and to promote cooperation in tourism between Mainland China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) will – for the third consecutive year – set up a Portuguese-speaking Countries’ Pavilion at the Macau International Travel (Industry) Expo.

The Training Centre of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) is organising a Seminar for Portuguese-speaking Countries regarding Inspection of Economic and Trade Activities.

The Workshop on business opportunities in fishing and processing of fishery products in Portuguese-speaking Countries took place on the afternoon of October 23, at Cotai Expo, the convention and exhibition centre of the Venetian Macao.

The Portuguese-speaking Countries’ Pavilion is playing a central role at the Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), which is in its 20th edition this year.

At the invitation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), the diplomatic representatives of Portuguese-speaking Countries are taking part – for the fifth consecutive year – in the Summit for Commercial and Industrial Development of Jiangsu, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

The Roundtable Meeting between leaders of Provinces and Municipalities of China and those of Portuguese-speaking Countries took place on the afternoon of October 21, at Cotai Expo, the convention and exhibition centre of the Venetian Macao.

The China and Portuguese-speaking Countries’ Young Entrepreneurs Forum held its inaugural meeting on October 21, at 9.30am, in the Florence Room at Cotai Expo, the convention and exhibition Centre of the Venetian Macao.

The Opening Ceremony of the 7th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries was held on October 20, at 6.30pm, at the Ballroom of the Macau Tower.

A Delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, on 9 October visited the Cuiheng New District, in Zhongshan, and Hengqin, in Zhuhai.

The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, jointly organised the workshop “Portugal – More than you imagine: Business and Investment Environment in Portugal”.
