As a part of the working visit to Portugal by a delegation from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC), the working meeting was held on October 21 at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, attended by the Secretary of State for Agriculture and several entities, including the DGAV, the IVV and the GPP.
At this event, the DGAV and the GACC initialed the Protocol for the export of unwashed wool to the People's Republic of China, thus resuming the export of this product to that country. The signing of the Protocol marks an important moment for the development of the Portuguese agricultural and commercial sector.
This agreement could explore the further future collaboration between China and Portugal in other agricultural areas, promoting sustainable growth in exports and positioning Portugal as a supplier of excellent products on the global market.
