On August 20, representatives of the Transport System met with a delegation from CHTC KINWIN, a manufacturer of electric buses in China. The company is evaluating the Brazilian market to decide whether to invest in the production of this type of vehicle here.

The vice president of CHTC KINWIN detailed the products they manufacture globally, including buses, trucks, ambulances, etc.

CHTC KINWIN's electric buses can run for an average of 12 hours after 1 hour of charging. With companies established in Portugal, Bulgaria, Australia, India and Uganda, the company is planing to enter the Brazilian market.

The company said it is aware of the difficulty in adapting to the rules and procedures of the Brazilian government, so it is working to obtain all the necessary licenses. The CNT's support was requested in mapping the difficulties faced by Brazilian transporters and users, which will allow for the presentation of tailor-made solutions.
