Midea announced the launch of five new products manufactured in Brazil, including three models of refrigerators and two washing machines, marking a significant step in its expansion in the Brazilian market. The presentation took place during the Midea Tour event, held on August 13 in São Paulo.

Felipe Costa, CEO of Midea, highlighted the importance of the Brazilian market for the company. “Brazil is one of the world's largest home appliance and air conditioning markets, and our focus is to invest here. We are bringing innovative products adapted to the needs of the Brazilian consumer, who seeks efficiency and modernity,"  said Costa.

This expansion is part of Midea's strategy to consolidate itself as one of the main household appliance brands in Brazil. The company is preparing to open a new factory in Pouso Alegre, which will have the capacity to produce 700,000 refrigerators and 600,000 washing machines per year.
