On August 15, 2024, Brazil and China will celebrate a historic milestone: half a century of diplomatic relations. Since August 15, 1974, the two nations have built a solid partnership, deepening their ties in several areas.

To celebrate this significant date, the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies, in partnership with the Chinese Embassy in Brazil, is promoting the exhibition "Laços: Belo Brasil, Bela China" at the National Congress in Brasília.

The exhibition, open to the public until August 15, portrays half a century of cooperation between the two nations, highlighting trade, culture, science and technology partnerships. The exhibition includes 30 panels that illustrate the history of bilateral relations, cultural objects and protocol gifts, symbolizing the growing connection between the countries.

In addition to the cultural part, the event also celebrates the significant advancement of commercial and diplomatic relations between countries, focusing on investments in infrastructure and scientific and technological cooperation, emphasizing projects such as the CBERS Satellite.
