The tenth edition of the Chinese Cultural Week in Cape Verde takes place from February 9 to 18, with activities in Praia and Mindelo.

Speaking to Inforpress, the executive secretary of the Cabo Verde-China Friendship Association (Amicachi), Ana Carvalho, explained that the initiative aims to contribute to the promotion of Chinese culture on the islands, Cape Verdean culture and exchange between the cultures of both countries.

The event, which is now in its 10th edition, aims to create a space to promote and develop relations between the two countries in various areas, namely culture, education, business and other areas.

The program also includes specialty consultations with the Chinese medical team, sporting activities such as indoor football, and table tennis, lectures on how to study in China for high school students, and a round table for artists.
