Minister of Education of Cape Verde participates in world conference on digital education in China

The Minister of Education of Cape Verde, Amadeu Cruz, will travel to China on January 30 and 31 to participate in the World Conference on Digital Education, in Shanghai at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, the Government announced.


In addition to participating in the conference's plenary sessions, the head of the education portfolio has a meeting scheduled for January 31 with Cape Verdean university students.


Teachers' digital literacy and skills, along with subjects such as artificial intelligence, digital ethics, opportunities for transformation, among others are topics in focus at the event organized by China.


Cape Verde has an ongoing Plan for the Construction and Modernization of Educational Infrastructures and the Transition and Digital Transformation of the Educational System. The Government of Cape Verde participates in the event with the expectation of being able to count on China to continue to successfully carry out ongoing educational reforms.
