The governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima, visited on January 11th the headquarters of the Chinese companies BYD and TCL, which operate in the Manaus Industrial Complex and generate more than 1,200 direct jobs.

“There is a possibility that we will have new investments from BYD in the next two years, as it has dominated the electric car market. At TCL, it was also a very important visit to understand which new products will be on the market and also the possibilities in the state of  Amazonas, summarized Governor Wilson Lima.

During the visit to the TCL factory in China, the governor of Amazonas signed with the company a protocol of intention to partner with the government of Amazonas, through the Amazonas Technological Education Center (Cetam) to optimize the development of educational technology and reinforce student training.
