Suzano has taken delivery of the ship "Green Santos" from Cosco Shipping Specialised Carriers, the name given to the first vessel specifically designed by the Chinese company to serve Suzano. The vessel, which was launched on 22 December at the Port of Dalian, in China's Liaoning province, has a deadweight tonnage of 77,000 tonnes and is the largest vessel of its kind in the world.

As of this half-year, the "Green Santos" will play an important role in transporting Suzano's pulp from the Port of Santos, in the state of São Paulo, to various destinations around the world, mainly China.

 The vessel, part of a fleet of similar-sized ships due to be delivered in 2024, was built to meet the expected increase in pulp exports from Suzano's mill under construction in Ribas do Rio Pardo (MS).
