The D11B electric articulated bus model from Chinese automaker BYD was highly evaluated in tests conducted by the City of Curitiba. Urbanização de Curitiba S.A (Urbs), which manages transport in the capital of Paraná, released the results on the 12th of December, highlighting the vehicle's superior performance compared to other brands.

The bus was tested on specific lines in the city, evaluating criteria such as operational performance, trafficability, battery life, accessibility and comfort. The D11B model demonstrated an impressive battery range of 297.1 km. In addition to battery performance, the BYD model also stood out in terms of tire durability.

BYD's 100% electric articulated buses are manufactured in Brazil, at the company's factory in Campinas.
