In a partnership that will bring Brazilian brands to supermarket shelves in China, Sete Partners, a Brazilian consultancy with experience in complex markets, has just created a joint venture with Tianjin Food, a Chinese food distribution giant.

The JV - named Tianjin Food Sete - will bridge the gap between Brazilian manufacturers of products such as natural juices, açaí and sustainable cosmetics and the Chinese consumer, exploiting the image of the sustainability of Brazilian agriculture and the natural wealth of the Amazon.

"Today Brazilian exports to China are very commoditised," André Skaf, Sete's partner, told Brazil Journal. "We want to change that. We see a huge opportunity for companies that today can't access the Chinese market to start selling their products there - and with their own brands."
