Chinese Ambassador to Angola Cui Aimin has said his country is willing to support the construction of a museum of Angolan heritage and culture, Angop reports.

The Angolan news agency quotes Mr Cui as saying after a meeting with Angolan Minister of Culture Carolina Cerqueira that Angolan culture was rich and diverse.

Mr Cui said China and Angola could make joint studies of specific aspects of culture.

Ms Cerqueira remarked on the demand among Angolans for Chinese scholarships to study culture, Angop says.
