Angola’s President José Eduardo dos Santos has met representatives from the China Development Bank Corp. to discuss economic and financial co-operation, Jornal de Angola reports.

The bank’s team is scheduled to meet Finance Minister Archer Mangueira and to visit some of the projects it has funded.

The newspaper says the bank’s president, Mr Zheng Zhijie, led the Chinese delegation.

The report cites a document published by Angola’s Finance Ministry which calls the bank one of the main vehicles for financial co-operation between Angola and the Mainland.
