The Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC) has established a partnership with Portuguese company Grupo Timing, based in the Algarve, to promote the participation of Portuguese companies in the Canton Fair 2026 Business Mission. The initiative aims to facilitate Portuguese companies’ access to Phase 1 of the Canton Fair, widely regarded as one of China’s largest multi-sector trade fairs and one of the world’s leading platforms for supplier sourcing, trade and international business development.

The business mission will take place from 12 to 22 October and is aimed at companies seeking to identify new suppliers, diversify their supply chains, discover innovative products and establish business relations in the Chinese market. The programme includes specialised support before, during and after the visit to China, with the aim of maximising the results of participation.

According to CCILC, participating as part of an organised mission enables companies to overcome some of the challenges associated with the scale of the fair and the complexity of the Chinese market. The partnership with Grupo Timing aims to provide an integrated solution that includes logistical and operational support, the organisation of business meetings, factory visits, and assistance in selecting and assessing suppliers and evaluating business opportunities.
