Chinese and Portuguese institutions open Chinese market to Portuguese start-ups through €25 million competition

The Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC) and the Portugal-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHKCCI), in partnership with Algarve Evolution, will present the International Sci-Tech Innovation Competition for China and Portuguese- and Spanish-Speaking Countries in Faro on 21 July. The international competition offers around €25 million in prizes.

 

The presentation session will be held at the University of Algarve and is aimed at start-ups, scale-ups, technology companies, universities, research centres and other organisations within the innovation ecosystem interested in exploring opportunities to expand into the Chinese market.

 

The International Sci-Tech Innovation Competition for China and Portuguese- and Spanish-Speaking Countries forms part of a co-operation initiative between China and Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking Countries, aimed at promoting innovation, investment and the international expansion of companies. The competition seeks to identify projects with strong growth potential and facilitate their access to the Chinese market through financing, strategic partnerships and specialised support.
