The China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) 2026, one of the most relevant international events dedicated to global supply chains, logistics innovation and international economic co-operation, opened in Beijing last week. The fair brought together thousands of companies, institutions and government representatives from various countries, promoting dialogue and collaboration among key players in global trade and industry.
For the second consecutive year, the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC) organised and promoted the Portugal Stand, providing a joint platform to promote Portuguese business capabilities in the Chinese market and among international partners. The initiative aims to strengthen Portugal’s visibility at a leading event for global supply chains and foster new business, investment and co-operation opportunities.
On the first day of the exhibition, the Portugal Stand was visited by the Ambassador of Portugal to the People’s Republic of China, Manuel Cansado Carvalho, accompanied by Nuno Lima Leite, AICEP China Director and Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Portugal in Beijing. The visit represented an important sign of institutional support for the Portuguese companies and organisations present at the event, as well as for the strengthening of economic and trade relations between Portugal and China.
