On February 26, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Angola, Zhang Bin, in Luanda, as part of the deepening of strategic dialogue between the two countries.

The meeting served to assess the state of cooperation between Angola and China and to analyze the progress of projects funded by China in Angola, with particular emphasis on the infrastructure, energy, and transport sectors, as well as identifying new partnerships to increase direct investment and trade between the two nations.

China remains a strategic partner for Angola, playing a decisive role in the reconstruction and modernization of infrastructure, with large-scale capital invested in the construction of roads, bridges, railways, and housing.

Sino-Angolan cooperation also has a significant dimension in the energy and mining sectors, with Chinese companies playing a leading role in the exploration of strategic resources and the implementation of structural projects. In return, China is one of the main markets for Angolan oil, reinforcing its status as a top-tier trading partner.
