Omoda E5, the new electric model from Chinese automaker Omoda that has been tested in Brazil, will be officially launched in Brazil at the end of March.
Omoda, as well as Jaecoo, are two brands of the Chery group, marketed only outside China. They are now arriving in Brazil. They had already shown some of their models at last year's Interlagos Festival, but now the vehicles are officially on the road in Brazil.
The launch will be on a grand scale. There will be 50 dealerships spread across 40 cities in 17 states. The number should reach 70 dealerships by the end of 2025. Initially, two models will be sold in Brazil: the fully electric Omoda E5 and the plug-in hybrid Jaecoo 7. The official price has not yet been announced, which should be early next month.
