Azul Linhas Aéreas is entering into a partnership with the largest Chinese electric car manufacturer, BYD, with a new service for its passengers. BYD will partner with Azul to provide VIP service to more frequent customers with higher consumption profiles.
The partnership is expected to be similar to the one LATAM Brasil has with Audi at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo (SP), but replicated at Viracopos Airport in Campinas (SP). In LATAM's service, passengers in the highest level of the loyalty program are taken to connecting flights and disembark in luxury cars from the German brand, providing greater comfort and speed for the customer.
Azul's partnership with BYD will be announced next week, with the possible cars used being the Seal and the Han, which have a range of 520 kilometers, according to the brand.
