A Chinese car manufacturer is about to announce a 10 billion investment to set up a new plant in São Paulo, generating thousands of jobs and transforming Brazil into a hub for exporting sustainable vehicles in Latin America.
The Chinese company, whose name has not yet been officially revealed, is widely recognized for its innovations in the electric vehicle market and technologies aimed at urban mobility. According to government sources, the installation of this factory is part of a broader project to attract foreign capital and consolidate the state's leadership in the manufacture of sustainable vehicles in Brazil.
The automaker is expected to start operating in 2025 or 2026 and will be a new milestone in trade relations between Brazil and China.
