Chinese Ambassador to Cape Verde receives courtesy visit from the National Director of the Judiciary Police

On the morning of June 5, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Cape Verde, Xu Jie and his advisor, Wang Shicai, received a courtesy visit from the National Director of the Judicial Police of Cape Verde, Manuel António Livramento Da Lomba, accompanied by the Deputy National Director, Silvino da Veiga and the head of the Telecommunications, IT and Technological Support sector, Leandina Miranda.


The meeting was an opportunity for the National Director of the PJ and the Chinese Ambassador in the country to exchange their first impressions on the partnership relations existing between Cape Verde and China, the promotion of contacts between these institutions and to discuss the security sector in these countries.


For his part, Xu Jie, the Chinese ambassador, took the opportunity to thank the police for the attention given to the Chinese community in Cape Verde. China is willing to work with the country to boost practical cooperation in various areas, including security, and constantly intensify bilateral relations between the two countries.
