The Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, initiated agreements with the Macau Institute of Tourism Studies (IFTM) to establish an exchange program for professionals and students in the sector who work in Brazil and Macau, China.
The action is part of the MTur Professional Qualification Program and is part of the Brazilian government's effort to expand professional training in tourism to enable the development of strong tourism, with the capacity to contribute even more to the generation of wealth, employment and income in the country.
Fanny Vong, president of IFTM, highlights that the presence of foreign students at IFTM has enriched the academic environment and promoted the exchange of cultural experiences. The institute offers specialized support to these students to promote integration and cultural diversity.
