Envoy open to more Sino-Angolan co-operation in education

Chinese Ambassador to Angola Cui Aimin has expressed willingness to increase Sino-Angolan co-operation in education, the Chinese Embassy in Luanda says.

The embassy issued a written statement saying the ambassador did so in a meeting with Agostinho Neto University Rector Pedro Magalhães.

The embassy says the co-operation would take the form of exchange visits by teaching staff, joint seminars on education and joint research.

Mr Cui is quoted as saying Angolan and Chinese academics could study each other’s country to deepen Sino-Angolan mutual understanding and friendship.

Agostinho Neto University is willing to learn from Chinese universities, the Chinese Embassy in Luanda quotes Mr Magalhães as saying.
