On the 8th of September, the head of office of the Brazilian Vice-Presidency and Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC), Pedro Guerra, took part in the 23rd edition of CIFIT (China International Fair for Investment & Trade), the country's largest investment event, which is taking place in Xiamen from September 8 to 11. Brazil is one of the three countries invited to the event.
On the 8th of September, Guerra presented the Brazil Pavilion to the vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CCPPC), Wang Yong, and to representatives of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, before meeting China's vice-minister of Commerce, Chen Chunjiang.
The MDIC representative also took part in the opening of the Gulangyu Forum, one of CIFIT's main events, with the theme "Expanding Bilateral Investment. Promoting Global Development."
