Trade between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries hit US$29.7 billion from January to April, down by 28.23 percent year-on-year, according to data from China Customs.
China sold goods to Portuguese-speaking Countries worth US$13.4 billion in the first four months of 2015, an increase of 0.34 percent year-on-year. The value of China’s imports from those countries reached US$16.3 billion in the same period, down 41.9 percent year-on-year, according to Chinese official data.
Total trade value in April topped US$7.9 billion, up 18.5 percent from the previous month.
China sold goods to Portuguese-speaking Countries worth US$2.8 billion in April, an increase of 4.5 percent compared with March. The value of China’s imports from those countries reached US$5.1 billion, up by 27.8 percent, according to Chinese official data.
