China sells more to Portuguese-speaking Countries in first quarter 2015

Exports from China to Portuguese-speaking Countries rose by 7.59 percent in the first quarter of 2015 compared to a year earlier, according to data from China Customs.


China sold goods to Portuguese-speaking Countries worth US$10.62 billion in the January-March period. The value of China’s imports from those countries reached US$11.12 billion in the same period, down by 42.25 percent year-on-year.


The combined trade between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries dropped to US$21.73 billion in the first quarter of 2015, a decrease of 25.36 percent from a year earlier, according to data from China Customs.


Total March trade between the two sides dropped to US$6.70 billion, a decrease of 2.7 percent in month-on-month terms.
