On December 14, a Chinese medical team made up of six specialists provides free medical service for more than 100 people at the Sal Health Department, as part of the team's 40th anniversary activities in Cape Verde.

The team, made up of doctors specializing in Internal Medicine, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Pain Management, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, is the 21st to visit Cape Verde, with the aim of providing free consultations with specialist doctors, and without long queues.

The leader of the medical team, Li Suping, a specialist in Internal Medicine, stressed that the Chinese team hoped that they would promote the health of the Cape Verde’s people and a greater friendship between the two countries.
