On November 20, the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and China's Tsinghua University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) laying the foundations for cooperation in innovation and technology. The agreements for the partnership began in June this year in Beijing, during a Brazilian government mission to China that was accompanied by Brazilian industry.
With the MOU in place, the aim is to strengthen international cooperation between CNI, Tsinghua University and other public and private institutions. The action also seeks to expand collaboration between the institutions to promote mobility and training programs for specialists and students, connect technology and innovation ecosystems, carry out joint research, create a favorable environment for business development and jointly develop new technological and commercial routes.
The Tsinghua's Director of the School Committee, Professor Qiu Yong, said that this memorandum of understanding will enable fruitful cooperation to work together to improve and deepen the relationship in the area of innovation, to impulse the economy, education, culture and technology of the two countries.
