Shaoxing and Jiaxing universities are UBI's new partners. The partnership agreements were signed as part of a visit that a UBI delegation made to the two academies.

The established contacts opened doors for UBI to welcome students and researchers from both universities, particularly to attend master's and doctoral courses, says UBI.

Still, in terms of exchange, Jiaxing University showed interest in receiving professors from the UBI's Chemistry, Civil Engineering, and Architecture departments. The institution is interested in establishing a double degree partnership with the UBI undergraduate course in electromechanical engineering for the next 15 years.
