Parliaments in Mozambique and China want to deepen and strengthen historic relations of friendship and cooperation.

To this end, the Committee on International Relations, Cooperation and Communities of the Assembly of the Republic was in China last week to exchange experiences with its counterpart in that country.

The president of the Commission, Catarina Dimande António, who led the parliamentary delegation, shared the political, social and economic situation of our country.

In China, the Commission met with the management of the Mozambique Embassy and was informed about the situation of the Mozambican community.

Catarina Dimande António explained that the Commission heard the Board of Directors of the Association of Mozambican Students in China and visited some telecommunications companies operating in our country.
