The Commercial, Industrial and Services Association of Goiás (Acieg) formalized on July 2nd a cooperation agreement with the Chinese city of Jinan, Shangdong province. With the signing of the agreement, the idea is to create a cultural, tourist and economic exchange with the state of Goiás.

Thiago Falbo, vice-president of Acieg, explained that, as a result a result of this partnership, Acieg and its associates now have support to sell Brazilian products to the Chinese market and to carry out business missions to China.

In his speech, he also highlighted that Acieg's role in promoting business between the two countries is historic. “In 2024, Brazil and China will celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations. Exactly 31 years ago, Acieg carried out its first official mission to the Chinese market. Last year alone, we participated in two missions that brought big business to Goiás and  Brazil," he said.
