The State University of Mato Grosso (Unemat) and the Sichuan University of Science and Engineering (SUSE) in China signed a cooperation agreement on 24 October in Cuiabá, Brazil.
The agreement provides for the exchange of students and teachers from both universities, as well as the establishment of a Confucius Institute unit on the Unemat campus in Sinop, where a Language Centre will operate, with courses in Portuguese for Chinese and Mandarin for Brazilians.
The signing ceremony took place in the auditorium of the Unemat office in Cuiabá, where representatives from Unemat and the Mato Grosso State International Relations Centre (Nurimat) welcomed the Chinese delegation and presented the state institution and got to know the Chinese university.
