Angola and China are preparing to sign a Reciprocal Investment Protection Agreement soon, the Minister of State for Economic Coordination, José de Lima Massano, said on September 23 in Luanda.
José de Lima Massano made this statement following a working visit to the headquarters of the Angola-China Chamber of Commerce and to the premises of four Angolan companies with Chinese capital.
The agreement, he said, has already been reached between the Chinese and Angolan authorities and, at the moment, through diplomatic channels, both countries are studying the dates and location for the signing of the important cooperation instrument.
The Minister of State also reaffirmed that the Executive was firmly committed to implementing policies aimed at boosting national production, guaranteeing more jobs, greater autonomy for the country, greater food security and better living conditions for its citizens.
